The Smile Lounge was created with the patient in mind. A lounge is a place where you can sit and relax. We want to ease any fears or anxiety that may be associated with coming to the dentist. Providing the best patient experience is our primary goal. We welcome all patients to come experience our judgment free office. Sit and relax in our lounge or in your private dental suite where you can access a variety of amenities through our comfort menu, such as wireless Bluetooth headphones for online streaming of your favorite music, movies, tv shows, blankets and warm, scented towels.
Clear Aligners are a treatment that gently move teeth into place. The trays are worn in a series over time to create a beautiful smile. Clear Aligners are a popular alternative to traditional braces, and do not have any brackets or wires. The aligners are discrete and are comfortable when worn, and do not cause any mouth or gum irritation.
The clear aligner trays are worn anywhere between 20-22 hours a day. The time worn each day depends on the patient’s treatment plan and the level of correction needed. Clear aligners are easily removable for drinking and eating, and have a blue indicator to let patients know when they have worn the trays for the required amount of tine each day. The blue indicator is great for teens using the clear aligners, and helps parents know if their child has worn the trays for the correct amount of time.

Clear aligners are a popular choice for both teens and adults. This treatment helps if you have overcrowding, chewing, or overbite issues. Older teens and adults can follow instructions daily and ensure the trays are worn for the required amount of time. On average this treatment takes between 6-18 months, and this is comparable to the treatment time for traditional braces. During our consultation process we will discuss each patient’s age, level of correction, and smile goals to help choose which orthodontic treatment is best.

Meet Dr. Daniels
Dr. Daniels graduated from A.T. Still University Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine and Masters in Public Health. As part of her course work, she also took advanced training in implantology through Implant Pathway Dental Implant Continuum.
A Grand Prairie Texas native, she earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Southern Methodist University and proudly calls Dallas home. From an early age, she’s always loved dentistry and the experience of sitting in the dentist’s chair. Her passion is to provide patients with quality treatment and a great experience, just as she’s always received. Each patient’s dental needs are unique, and Dr. Daniels is committed to offering customized care with compassion.
Dr. Daniels’ vision for the Smile Lounge is to be a place where patients can receive caring, friendly dental service and information on the importance of oral care. She has a heart for volunteerism and will be working within the community to offer oral health awareness and services for those who need it. Dr. Daniels is committed to ensuring her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care, and for her, dentistry is part science, part heart. Dr. Daniels is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
